Please, explain your passions and values
I am passionate about serving others, whether as a servant leader, a coach, a mentor, a trusted sounding board or a helping hand. This has been a consistent theme throughout my life and career.
I grew up in the Netherlands and was a Scout as a young girl, where I learned about the importance of nature, respect, and community. As a university student, I volunteered at local refugee centers and served as a board member for the university symphony orchestra and choir. After graduating, I volunteered with Health Projects Abroad, helping build schools in rural areas of Tanzania. Throughout my professional career I have remained committed to building strong communities and supporting others through service and leadership.
I co-founded Coca-Cola Women in STEM, which started as a small Lean-In circle and grew into a 6000+ member organization. I also served on the HDI Atlanta board and currently serve on the board of the Netherland-America Foundation Atlanta Chapter.
My personal core values are love, family, honesty, and kindness. My professional values strongly align with Bonnell's core values, especially integrity, accountability, and trust.
What about Bonnell Aluminum makes it a great place to work?
From the moment you walk through the door, you are welcomed with genuine kindness. That first impression reflects a strong, supportive culture - one that builds confidence, fosters trust, and creates an environment where people can thrive. The culture and the people make Bonnell Aluminum an exceptional place to work.
Personal interests (hobbies, talents, etc.)
First and foremost, I am a mom. Much of my time outside of work is centered around my teenage son and daughter who are both talented basketball players, so you will often find me in gyms across the US. When I do have "me-time", I like being outdoors, running or walking my dogs. Other hobbies include painting, reading, crocheting, singing and occasionally playing the ukulele.
